Refund policy

We want you to be happy with anything you buy from us. This policy explains your rights as a UK consumer when you buy from the Roaming Radfords shop, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

The shop is operated by Yowzer Limited, trading as Roaming Radfords (company number 05020429, registered in England & Wales).

1. Your 14-day right to cancel

Because you're buying online (a "distance sale"), you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days from the day you receive the goods. You don't have to give a reason.

Once you've told us you want to cancel, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

2. How to request a refund or cancellation

Email roamingradfords@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you want to return
  • The reason (optional, but helpful)

We'll confirm by email and give you the return address. Please don't post anything back before you hear from us, items returned to a wrong address can go missing.

3. Condition of returned items

Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, with any tags attached, and in their original packaging where possible. You can inspect items the same way you would in a shop, but if the goods are damaged or visibly used beyond that, we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the lost value.

4. Return shipping costs

Unless the item is faulty, mis-described or sent in error, you pay the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend using a tracked service, we can't be responsible for parcels lost on their way back to us.

If the item is faulty or our mistake, we'll cover the return postage.

5. When you'll get your refund

We'll refund your money within 14 days of either:

  • The day we receive the goods back from you, or
  • The day you give us proof you've sent them back (e.g. a tracked-postage receipt), whichever is earlier.

Refunds are sent to the same payment method you used to order. Stripe processes the refund, it can take a few extra working days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Refunds cover the price of the goods plus the standard delivery cost you originally paid. If you chose an upgraded delivery option (e.g. express), we'll only refund the standard delivery amount.

6. Faulty, damaged or wrong items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If something we sent you fails on any of those, you're entitled to:

  • Within 30 days of delivery: a full refund.
  • Within 6 months of delivery: a repair or replacement; if that isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem, a refund (which may be reduced for use you've had from the item).

Email roamingradfords@gmail.com with your order number and (ideally) a photo of the issue. We'll sort it.

7. Non-returnable items

We don't currently sell perishable goods, personalised items, or sealed audio/video media, so the standard "not returnable" exclusions don't apply to anything in our shop. If we ever add items that are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right, we'll flag it clearly on the product page before you buy.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer. If you'd like more information about your rights, Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) is a good place to start.
