Long read They Made Us Change Our Plans: Porto, Sardines, and Why We're Basically Moving to Portugal
There are trips where everything goes to plan, and then there are trips like this one.
Read post →Right. We're the Radfords (Steve, Lyndsay, Eddie, Harry and George) and we've been doing this since 2007, when we bought a 1989 Talbot Pilote for £5,000 with no idea what we were doing. Nineteen years later, seven motorhomes deep, and the plan is essentially the same. We set off with a rough direction in mind and find the rest as we go: no pre-booked pitches, no itinerary, just the van and whatever happens next. That's the whole point of it.

Roaming Radfords is a family motorhome travel brand: Steve, Lyndsay and their three sons, from Milton Keynes, UK, roaming the UK, Europe and the US by motorhome since 2007. The site has three parts, YouTube videos, a blog of trip write-ups, and long-form guides on buying and living in a motorhome. All of it is drawn from nineteen years and seven motorhomes of doing it for real, not sponsored spec sheets.
Weekly uploads across three YouTube channels: trip vlogs, motorhome tech and home life.
