Camping in the Pits at Mallory Park Race Track

​Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th October 2020
At last we back on the road!

Our great friends are competing at the BMW Kumho Championships and we decided to support their racing and spend the weekend cheering them on! We arrived early and Steve and Russ were like children in a sweet shop exploring the quirky toys and vehicles on sale at Huggy's Speed Shop at the entrance to the circuit!

After setting up camp right in the middle of the race circuit, the boys had the most perfect Petrol head weekend! They got to see exactly what goes in to prepping a car ready for race day, and  Eddie even got to reverse Ben's race car out of the trailer!

It's fair to say that I don't really know (care) much about cars, so my personal highlights were talking to an "old boy" driver about his racing experience and the tour of Russ & Di's American Slide Out RV - they have so much space!

The boys had a fabulous weekend and to top it all off Russ won his race!
